I found out a couple of days after it was released completely by accident. I admit that even though I was waiting for it to come out, finding it when I did caught me a little by surprise. I expected some sort of announcement, but as it would happen I only noticed it in passing while doing my normal forum-rummaging.

I knew before they made it to the front "news" page (if that matters).
Not only do they manage to make something so awesome,but the
amount of support they give to all the "problems" is
truly amazing.
I don't think there is anyone who didn't get an answer for their question even if it was: "read the 1st post" please it's all in there

Does PRSP plan on releasing 0.85 sometime down the road?

Yes, but seeing as it's the Single Player version, you won't see many of them in game Unless you get your friends and play via Hamachi, which is very fun
