Just to add to the bit above, the advantages of not having your weapon in your hand, is if you did you would see this in the back of the lyxn:

For the Huey its the same story, currently in the huey you see this while sitting in the back:

Unfortunately we have not done this huey fix for v0.85 as its been a low priority thing and simply not got round to it, but in the future we will, just means a lot of reworking the current code to get it is all

Are you sure the Huey pics are in the right order Rhino? The top one is much more detailed, just look at the pilots' console. The only thing you lose is the little medic bags by the door, which I believe are there in 0.8.

yep, just dont look as detailed when away from it in the editor, ingame looks much better

That mean we gonna be able to stop fire to prevent destruction or repair or medic or what comon men give some juicy details ! =D

can still heal others in the same vehicle at very slow speeds just like in a APC.

Is this lynx gonna replace the merlin or is it going to be a little bird type chopper?

Thou you will not see this chopper kitted out with TOW missiles or miniguns on the side or w/e, because the TOW missiles are being phased out of service since the Apache dose such a good job of chopper air support and even thou its theoretically possible to add guns onto the side, none of our MAs have ever heard it being done and no pics show it.
