I preferred the old bikes, even they were easier to steer. I find using the mouse way too uhh weird and I usually end up using both WASD and mouse leading to a crash or spin. Plus you can hardly control it at full speed in other areas than desert. Driving them in towns is a pain in the ***.

For me personally they are probably the least realistic thing in PR - Maybe Im doing it wrong?
One of you said that they no longer shake, but that is certainly not my experience. The model looks great, but the controls are horrible - they do get easier after a bit of practice, but still the whole experience feels very unrealistic. I would rather they had the characteristics of the ATV bike, or even just replace the bikes completely with ATVs.

Why do people think it's hard to "pick the bike up"??? It's simple, alls you do is move your mouse left/right until the bike is up right......If you have problems doing this it's a miracle that you are even able to play PR...

With your dpi between 400 - 800, you should be able to use the mouse at high speeds to tweak your steering quite easily. Use the A + D (or left & right keys if your a n00b like Scot) for slow speeds.

Yeah, if you have a variable dpi, set it to 1600 to get pick the bike back up, then set your dpi low to help you with steering.
I love the way the new bikes handle, the only thing I don't like is not being able to look around with the mouse, as Tomato pointed out.
I know the suggestions section is closed, please don't hurt me, does anyone know if it's possible to have the aircraft style Ctrl+Mouselook thingy? I know, the chances are that if that is possible, it'd be in game but I've not seen it disucced.

^I would think that if there is a CTRL view, you'd also need to have the rest of the arm and shoulders modeled, too. I love driving with these currently, though they are too fast even when unshifted. I'd say make them slower, if only because tapping "w" doesn't allow you to drive 'em properly or easily around roadblocks. Then you can just give the "shift" it's full speed and VOILA! You can now either throttle to full on long stretches, or just go at a moderate speed for wreck infested roads. I know It's been suggested before (By Rudd), so please don't hurt me

I like em, it's a bit harder to control inside cities but just keep the lean fully upright and you can turn em like the old ones.
Then when your on the open road you will suddenly understand why the lean system is awesome!

There definatly a jump from the old ones, the tilt just needs refining, espacially when you start off leaning well over, you have to fight to get it upright

But good fun non the less, just a shame u cant throw IEDS at tanks as you hurtle past shouting durka durka

Bikes didn't work well before and they are useless now.

You guys think driving a bike IRL is easy, one stone on the road and you can fall very easily, when crossing rail-ways you have to be very careful or you will fall, the current handling system is perfect for me.
