Maybe just alcohol.
Same thing I thought about while reading the thread title!
As far for enhancing the experience, a comfy chair and an energy drink go a LONG way, though my trusty logitech joystick is always there should I get airborne ( yeah right, havent done that since like .7 kashan

)

I use TrackIR4 when playing IL2:1946 but BF2 isn't really supported. It's possible to make it work but its a huge hassle and you'd still have to press ctrl before you could look around in the A10

yupp... tried this with a wiimote + bluetooth stick

Worked pretty well, but it wasnt very helpfull, beacuse you still have to push ctrl and then you cannot control your plane anymore... its much fater with the new "left/right looking ability" with the weapon slots...

The perfect thing to have would be a replica of the cockpit of a fighter jet of your choice, gripen for me naturally.
And it tilted and such like the chair in that video.
But instead of glass for the cockpit, it was a computer screen. that displayed everything around you at once, so you could just turn your head to look around outside the plane.
Sort of like the one the US army has, only smaller.
