I don´t see how much offense can be taken from anything over the internet but meh.

first off: wouldn't they be more offended by the people who take this game WAY to seriously and call the other team towelheads over chat?

Ok, as a Muslim, I don't really get offended by that stuff. God is great is a phrase used for example if something extraordinary happens (and blowing up a C2 with Big Red IS extraordinary).
The derkah derkah stuff is just from a movie and doesn't MEAN anything. If at all, the non-Muslims should be offended because that movie portrays them as ignorant bigots.
Djihad is a bit more sensitive as a word, but in my perception it is rather rarely used.
On the other hand, I hate it if people on GB side say stuff like "ragheads" because that is a term used by some ignorants who hate any "A-rabs" just 'cause their A-rabs.
Mostly, if someone starts saying that stuff in my squad, I change squad.

i've even had a guy in my sq screaming stuff about jews while playing as ins... some people just like to hate everything they are not...
No reason for me to get upset about it, they got thier ideas i got mine..
(and i can laugh at thier ignorance aswell, wich is a bonus)

I don't know when I play the Insurgent side that jihad music the car plays just gets me way into the role. Usually the squad I'm in will be goofing around anyway so it's always good natured banter on VOIP. Usually the whole squad ends up praising Allah after every kill or just bragging about who has more wives and of course what you will do when you finally get your 72 virgins.

Guys i think i am muslim well i play PR and hear that stuff its awesome shit man.It spices up the gameplay of insurgency i am pretty sure that some people get really angry about this.I know its not a cool thing for people who take care too much of stuff.Actually i mostly laugh when people scream ALLAH,QOM,INFIDEL in my squad.I dont know other muslims opinions but this was mine.I dont know arabic btw and all muslims are not arabs all should know this quick info...

I'm not Muslim but think its obvious that the Taliban and Insurgency factions are not ment to represent all Muslims. They are extremists. So someone screaming Allah in a combat situation is not uncommon.

As a Muslim actually I dont mind people doing that(saying Allah Akbar). Actually I find it funny and hilarious and it adds to the atmosphere. But if someone says "Allah snackbar" or other variation with the word Allah(which means God),I find it a little offensive. But again its not a big deal because everybody has his own beliefs
Just a quick info,Allah Akbar is not just a battle cry,it is even used in the compulsary daily prayers.

I am not a muslim, but as many said the insurgents and taliban is just portraying the wars going on now. It would have been the same if NATO fought south american gerija troops instead. But they would need some other words though.
