AA Kit is a no no, but sometimes it is justified to take a HAT kit, just don't get killed.

Its not realistic, in Nam soldiers used to pick up AKs because of the stopping power and reliability, although not as much as they could have due to friendly fire, heck in WW II the only thing the allies did not pick up from the Whermacht was the German accent.
I understand that the solider picking up part of the uniform is a bug and that should be fixed if possible.
But maybe some kits could be made to dissapear instantly if possible, like the medi kit. Only because you snatched the bandages and pointy stuff does not mean you know how to use them.

Fix the bug or +1 to this idea sorry.
FYI INS your Ak's are better then them M4/M16's your picking up even with a optic your just getting 40% more deviation and losing full auto and your just going to be the very very first target of the squad.
I use to always drop my gun for the Ak because I new it was a lazor rifle with a big round and i could kill a ins in one shot but the new bug stopped all that.

If they did not get any they just peed in their own boots to make them comfy. True story. At least thats what vets told us.

Ditto I do not ditch my AK for the M16 either.

im not for that, let the kits as they are now. it works fine for me.
Better bring the headshots back, then there is no more need to swap kit and recive the guy.
And if i find a better kit on the field, i would take it, even if im atm not able to use it. But even a taliban can get a hat to work...

charliegrs wrote:right, but is it also realistic to have a medic pick up a HAT kit and magically know how to use it? or an insurgent picking it up and all of the sudden he has all the training necessary to operate a hat kit? see this is why i think it should be limited to certain kits.
Most weapons like HAT and LAT have pictograms describing their operations. Infantry weapons are designed to be idiot proof, so I don't find it too hard to believe an insurgent could obtain and fire the weapon in relatively short order. Would he be as proficient as a trained soldier? No, but he'd be able to break things with it.

i dont like the idea becuse, if your out of ammo, and theres guns laying on the ground arround you, are you just going to leave them therem most guns are simple, bullet gose out one side, trigger fires.
same with a gl to a degree, if an ins loocked at it, im sure he could figure out how to use ti preatty simply.
idk how aa missles work, but if anything, scince they seem to be heat seaking, mabey you could just disable the heat seacking for one team if possible.
and kinda off topic but related, with taking the dead e clothes, isent that kinda realistic for ins, to get closer to the americans i mean?

No.
Leave the kits like they are.
Leave the bug like it is.
I mean, who cares if you can't identify friends/foes properly? just adapt, and for the love of god, I don't see how it's wrong to be able to pickup another kit. Gameplay's just fine like it is, it's even more fun than before TBH.
Leave it alone, it's fine like it is.
