A friend at the BF2 community I was in at the time (06) - "Return 2 Kill" / <R2K> - linked to it one day and said it was worth checking out. Within a few weeks, some of us were playing it pretty much exclusively, but the rest of the clan preferred 'nilla. Shortly after I packed up and left, and played PR more or less exclusively for about the next 3 years..

I used to play Delta Force and one of the guys I played with kept convincing me to get BF2, then after I bought it he linked me to the download section here, I downloaded 0.4 in January 2007 and only checked it out on local because I had no clue there was a 1.41 patch I had to download in order to play online

I know the first impression was 'omg 30 second spawn and I died outta nowhere wtf'

I went back to BF2 and after month and a half realized that it blows, so I came back, got the correct patch and downloaded 0.5.

Which reminds me, last week it was 2 years since I registered here

Saw it in a copy of PcZone.

Got hold of 0.5, loaded it up, jumped in a forklift or something of that kind at the airbase on Basra drove to the front line. Got shot by an insurgent and died. Uninstalled it thinking 'That was shite' but then reinstalled two weeks later and played it on and off since then.

Browsing ModDB around 0.322 days.

Guess I was reading a random topic, ended up on BF2, and clicked: Mods for BF2. And I noticed the title Project Reality. I decided to give it a try...and here I am

i think i was looking for new bf2 mods and stumbled over a topic in some community forum, can't remember wich one.

that was back in late 0.4 iirc, think i just signed up here to ask if there's any bot support available or in development..

I think I found a link on some website, back in 0.3 or 0.4, PR 4 life

I saw something - I think on TotalBF2.com - about a mod where the devs had been rounded up and taken away by "the authorities" for having military secrets or something.

Was an April Fool of course, but a good one. Got me into the mod and I've loved it ever since.

Actually, Sandbox pushed me into PR... I DL-ed the Modjive, and found PR there. "Why not?" I said.

I visit Fileplanet everyday to see what's going on in the gaming world. That's where I saw it.

(Although I admit, Fileplanet has gone to sh*t in the last few years - I used to be a paying subscriber but no more)

Saw a concept post by the original dev back on the totalbf2 forums before they turned into a noob fest, first downloaded .2 i think...
Only real changes were lack of crosshair and bullet damage but i think it was the first time i experianced real teamwork in bf2

yea i went searching online and on fileplanet i saw Project Reality and decided to give it a try, and i would never go back.

guys how can i start playing the mod? i mean. i don't have any maps... iam a new comer here and i really want to play this mod but i can't.... if anyone can help me thanks!
