Did you miss the part about dying outside of a vehicle giving you the 10 minute spawn time?

And besides, got any better idea to give pilots incentive to return back to base alive? Most people I know would just noob out and suicide, so they could get back to flying sooner. Which is just a wee bit unrealistic.
