Can you imagine if there were really fast ropes in already? so many pilots would just do one when they came under fire and people were still unloading....

No, no, Reaper, you got it wrong. That was a Towing cable attached to the AC-130, which Tows along a Chinook, which can then hold the fastropes

i really hope this is a joke. we have enough problems with 1337 idiots in pr, fastropes are only going to make it ten times worse.
