In this ingame video (no fancy trailer editing) you can see the better ragdoll and helmet/weapon flying... there are still the sounds for helmet dropping in the game files.

Wow, the ingame physics in the video above really are superior to those of the finished game. Really; why is that?

And can't this be considered some kind of false or misleading advertising?

The stuff in the video seem to be real in-game stuff, no editing at all. I doubt they'd go as far as editing a full 3D animation to make it look like that.

This is one of the little things that could make the game feel much more immersive and refined. 8)

If it wasnt incoportated in the main Bf2 release there must have been something wrong with it

Most likely just for optimizing purposes for those minimum requirement Pentium 4 1,7ghz processors.

Well no. DICE made an alright game, but EA made them take a lot of stuff out (that wasn't finished yet, or EA didn't want it in) AND released it too early. There's just so much stuff that didn't make it into the game that I think could have, if they postponed its release.

Some examples:
- Ragdoll animations
- Dropkits (weapons falling, helmet, etc.)
- Fastroping (and thus a decent implementation of rotor blades collision)
- Tank HUDs (the original were different (better) than vanilla)
- Vehicle on vehicle collisions (should have been checked out)
- Etc...

Well EA suck balls anyway for raping the CnC franchise instead of letting Westwood get on with it...

but yes, DICE suck balls too, but we can forgive them because EA control them.

they are afaik, it was mentioned a while ago and got a DEV response.
