well thank you all for ansewring my question, I was really upset of getting responses like go use the merlin on al barash cuz i knew it wasent there but i wish it was on other maps cuz it really is a great chopper.

Yeah, the merlin lag was something that the devs still look at in this manner O_o.

Nobody knows.

We do know it doesnt lag on single player.

We thought it was the back door problem, turned out it wuznt.

Had nothing to do with what hardware u had, although any crappy hardware will definitely result in lower performance.

Just happened randomly.

After a certain release it kind of stopped for most people, but it still occurred.

Its just one of those mysteries..... Just like me trying to find the 50 cal sniper rifle in Albrashar thats still hidden.... im so pissed i didnt get it in time from that insurgent last night....

There is still a 50 cal in the game???

the merlin lags for some because of their hardware combo (not if it's bad or good). this is what me squad discussed and agreed on when i was flying in a transport squad @ quinling. it lags very little for me in .85

i was just as pleasantly surprised as you when i found out about the 50 cal sniper still being there. But it has a new hiding spot.

But back on topic....

I also really miss the merlin, and i really hope it will be back[despite reality these time] i really miss the big thing, sometimes it maked a round with a good pilot way more fun, and also more teamwork, only bad thing is chopper lag[but anyway im not a pilot] and that usual vanilla players got in it, for their first time, usualy ending up 10 points and 10 minutes

but in reality probaly be only the lynks or both i think, but i also not military expert

also where was the 50 cal in the old version? i comed to late to see it, and still didnt

I never bragged about my super leet hardware. By comparison to most people its pretty average. Compared to my old computer, yea it is leet.

It wasn't really a totally serious statement. It was just an offhand observation.
