Mine too...

to laze.
It's too beautiful to laze it...
only thing i dont like in this beast is overheating level for 30mm gun
It's not a problem, though.

The only thing I don't like about the BMP3 is its ridiculous accelerating into air whenever driving over a bump/dune at full speed and the fact that it still behaves like someone who just got kicked from behind when coming into contact with water.

An IFV is used to transport people, it's an APC with a bigger gun and better weapons....

Did I say IFV's are not used to transport people?

* I won't go to hot zone to get a slap in the face by an infantry squad.
Might have misunderstood you though....

I wish the 30mm would overheat slower...they don't go that fast IRL do they?

^ Reminds of We were soldiers.

IMO BMP-3 30mm cannon doesn't overheat so fast in real life.

It's rate of fire is 350rd/min IRL, and is's pretty big in PR. So, I think, the overheating after firing 10 rounds was given to balance it out, or something like that. :P

IRL, they can fire up to 550RPM (like in PR). People complain about them overheating so fast because they're not pacing themselves enough.

Ah, my source said 350. :(

Agree with you Jaymz. You can fire two shoots and wait a ~second between them and the turret wont overheat.

If your turret overheats, switch to 100mm rounds or the ATGM.

This IFV has a hydropneumatic suspension, which can be adjusted to suit the type of ground being crossed.

That's what we need in PR -an adjustable transmission. ;-)

The rate of fire for the 30mm is adjustable as well:

The 30 mm 2A42 cannon has a dual feed. One is for HE-T and the other for AP-T rounds. The gunner can select one of two rates of full automatic fire, low at 200 to 300 rds/min and high at 550 rds/min.

Any plans to deploy this (BMP3) on other maps?

I hope so. MEC in Muttrah and Jabal are kinda underpowered.

And of course the Russians. Can't they have their own design back? :p

I'd like to see a few maps featuring the russians that are more than just light battles vs the chechens, and while I understand that their arsenol of vehicles (such as the HIND, T80, BTR 80, and such) aren't all modeled yet, when they are, I wouldn't want them to ignore their very own BMP-3 :D

Like the Bradley in Fallujah West, the BMP-3 is much more versatile than it's current home maps make it out to be.

Yep, and i'm gonna be in this APC at the tournament on Saturday. ;-) . Remember that, if you are gunning, always have ATGM selected. If you need to change, you only need to wait a few seconds. If you want to use ATGM, you need to wait 13 seconds = too much

Btw, i'm i the only one noticed that this is the only apc where the squad can see each other? Maybe i'm silly, but i think that is kinda cool.
