In what way, shape or form is that relevant to whether or not a particular factor causes the reported issue? Hint - it's not
My comment wasn't about the feasibility of jumping out of the Merlin mid-game, it was making the point that were the problem with the Huey and Merlin to do with their level of cockpit interior or collision mesh, the problem would not be solveable for any player experiencing it with this simple fix. Were it to do with graphics lag or a problem with the ColMesh, the problem would be more likely to be persistent - occuring for all players on specific levels of hardware, or occuring all the time for specific players, or for the entire round when it occured.
Instead, the problem is transient and has a viable work-around - which makes it more likely to be code-related.

Ok I got what you said wrong, I have heard many people say that to me before though to hop out and get in a gunner seat which is kind of a death sentence for your chopper because by the time you get a crewmen kit get in out get back to your chopper someone will be in it saying "Well you were in a tank im taking it now"

I remember once in a training server on Quinling I was able to turn the cockpit detail down to this bland gray thing (I think I pressed "c" while flying) since the lag doesn't affect me anymore I believed that it was for the people who lag in the merlin cockpit.
