Lol that's not blood its oil from the engine or something. Look at the new hummers wiki its in there all soldiers survived unharmed not even a scratch

The OP said that there no casualties in that incident, so it stays for now.

Another one of my thoughts is i would be cool if PR switched to using the Unreal engine for better physics and graphics. But thats ALOT of work its like having to remake PR all over again.[/QUOTE]

Not gonna happen anyway and as McLuv said. China/mec has nearly only vBF2 models I think some NATO forces should I am thinking US/Brits have alot of nice models and all lets hope MEC/China gets the luve they need before we see alot of new models on the first factions :D

Is something I have been waiting on for year's and I think would fit great with the Nato forces Like on the new Al bas and Op archer.

This Anti Taliban Jeep would be good to use for map only dealing with the Taliban.

If I could make it for PR I dam sure would, Hell I'd pay some by the hour to build one as long as they met a deadline. ;-)

But, here's the idea... If you can save all the models for BF2 and then slowly redo and convert them to high texture things. I'm really sure if you aimed for it the team could achieve it. It's worth it the engine is real easy UN-buggy and high graphics. This mod team could work with other unreal mod teams. Black sand should unite with all the other Modders and DEVS to work on it. Because in the long haul its worth it. But BF2 is simple as well and PR is based on it already switching would be difficult but, if they halted all production and modding of PR and focused ONLY on the unreal engine or even hell, the source engine if they can figure out how not to get Reliable Snapshot Overflow fixed for those big cluttered maps. But Unreal engine has Fog of war and preloaded texture so there is no lag. I just think that Unreal would attract more gamers because of the engines cool reliability and ease of use.
The thing about BF2 engine is its not reliable the texture loading is **** like in Kashan Desert and you get those deformed and flickering textures. If PR ever did that they would make a profit off the game. Frontlines fuel of war and Warhammer (Strategy) both use unreal for their games.

MRAPs have been fielded in Iraq for a few years now.

I see the appeal of having an MRAP/JLTV in PR but if they were implemented realisticly they would create balance/coding issues because they can withstand so much punishment.

At this very instant 0 FFOW players are online (yes zero), compared to PR which has 322.

And what about UT3? 207 players...

Servers playing Frontlines: Fuel of War | Server / Player Search | Game-Monitor.com :: Server Search, Monitoring, Stats and more|
Servers playing BattleField 2 | Server / Player Search | Game-Monitor.com :: Server Search, Monitoring, Stats and more
Servers playing Unreal Tournament 3 | Server / Player Search | Game-Monitor.com :: Server Search, Monitoring, Stats and more

A game usually must be very popular itself to gain a playerbase for it's mods.

As far as all the Unreal 3 Engine games go only FFOW is close enough to BF to be modded like PR.

BTW what Warhammer strategy game are you referring to?
yue0707 wrote:The thing about BF2 engine is its not reliable the texture loading is **** like in Kashan Desert and you get those deformed and flickering textures.
You're focusing too much on graphics, which the gameplay should never compromise for.
yue0707 wrote:If PR ever did that they would make a profit off the game.
They wouldn't make profit off a mod, they'd have to make their own successful retail game (which requires licenses and a lot more work then you imagine).

No that is the light going threw the vents on the top, it appears that outer layer is just a shell and what your seeing is the light going threw the mesh.

PR in-game

Squad member: Quick grab that baby MRAP and man the 50cal on it!
I am sure it will just be referred to as the mrap, like no one says "Hey here comes a M998 HUMMWV"
