'[R-CON wrote:Riki_Rude_BTYC']ill have to give the lego mod a try simply because i loved legos so damned much when i was younger!
When you were young?! Hell I still play with lego, probably explains why I don't have a girlfriend...meh w/e I can jsut build one! Lego triumphs over all!

Back on topic, the mod has left me speechless, a lego version of battlefield 2. Can you say younger audience?

It think I will be fun to play BF2 watching all the bricks fly everythwere, but I definately feel younger players will be drawn to it the most.

There was nothing more satisfying as a kid, than building stuff with lego. My personal favourite was the fire spewing stealth helicopter.

America was a tad late into the First World War. They redeemed themself's and came in slightly sooner in the Second. Now they seem determined to start the Third.

I think some of you guys need to lighten up, it's a Lego mod, not some disgraceful abuse of the BF2 engine. These guys clearly wanted to put their skills to use doing something other than adding the classic mod features (new guns, new armies etc etc) and make something that'll stand out. There's no reason anyone shouldn't like it, and I might give it a try when it's out. Good ol' Lego. :D

No its not I am gonna try it out. I think it is very cool that they took my childhood favorite toy and put it into bf2. I think it will be fun to blow the **** out of legos again. I got to a certain age where I would take m80's and blow up all my legos. Boy was that fun.

and you could say that with the number of 13 year olds that play prmm this could be a 13 year old mod as well.

That looks really solid! I'll play it for originality and variance of gameplay. It's the kinda shit I play BF Pirates and that sort of thing for. Original idea, neat theme (think toy soldiers, which would also probably make for a neat mod, playing in household scenarios, and a garden scenario). Execution looks good with those lego bricks flying everywhere too.

Operation Flashpoint had something like this (sorry if someone already mentioned it, I skipped some of these posts).

Ded, what the hell is Walleye doing under your desk?

On second thoughts, don't answer that.

ON TOPIC:

I'll play it, it's a pleasant break from the norm.
