So i was thinking if the Marines have gotten one of those is it possible for the other factions to get one, manly a Mi-8/17 with Unguided Rocket pods, why i suggest this ?

The armed Huey is a light attack/scout helicopter; it has no troop seats modeled or coded in game and does not drop supply crates. In real life, it and the MH-60 DAP do not operate in the transport role and attack/fire support role at the same time due to weight restrictions.

As far as I know, the only faction in game that still uses the Mi-17 in an attack capacity is the PLA. They may not issue all of their troops body armor, and in some cases (a-gunners come to mind) even firearms, but I don't think they would take gunship sent to clear an assault zone in advance of infantry, and then put the soldiers their trying to reduce the risk for on the same aircraft.

The rocket equipped "Hip" has come up on the DEV forums recently, and came up once before here on the public forums, but a long time ago. I'll let you slide on this one.
