The merlin because the miniguns are useless and you always have some retard who shoots them. The lynx because it's faster and can take more hits. I'm not sure why i prefer the warrior but i do And i prefer the Wimik because of it's awsome handling.

Brits need more maps. They only have 5 and only 3 of them are played enough. If anything they need more maps not another one to be stolen by the USMC/US ARMY

What can I say? And PR is willing to introduce more and more factions. Now the floodgates have opened and there is a bigger necessity for maps than there was before.

Should look at the Modding Community forums. There are bits and pieces being said that the French and Germans are coming to PR at some point in the future. Even some mixed things about the Israeli and Hamas forces which have been moving along too from what I've read. I haven't heard anything about the Canadians ever since Operation Archer had made it's first introduction. As for everything else, I have no clue about and/or hasn't got to the point where it's developed enough to be thought of implementing.

I found the influx of comments about vehicle preference pretty funny by the way.

Most of those community mods are being their own maps afaik, especially zee Germans.

And Op Archer was always going to be Canadian anyway, I think they expected to have finished their mod before now.

With all respect i will nerver choose a littlebird instead of a Lynx, the same with the LAV instead of the warrior.

What's the point with doing this? PR is set in an alternative present - anything can be different.

Also, why do I have a feeling that most people who wants this change think they will get Basrah a lá 0.5?

Well I for one think it needs to be moved to US forces and overhauled switch major battle spots.

I mean you cant hide anywhere or be sneaky everyone knows it like a book by now 1 squad can find the 2 unmarked caches before the rest of there team can fight for the one marked...

Brits have a good bit of maps, You just need to understand there are 2 USA factions and only one brit faction there for the USA will always have more maps point blank.

I suggest giving the Brits some tea and whine in this thread.

There is something like 12-14 US/USMC maps and around 6 Brit ones.

what and the miltia having t 62 mbts i actually didnt like ti that much to many people waiting for the bloody a 10 and not fighting keep basra UK i have had some epic matches on it last night example 17 kills in 5 min in the fields epic firefight with Landies firing away UK forever

For all you know the AL Basrah map could be set in 2006.
The main PR faction has a shortage of maps as it is. I for one am sick and tired of playing US in pretty much every single game ever made. More Brits, Russians etc please.

Also, I find it quite funny that all brits are saying no, and almost all americans are saying yes. I vote no due to lack of brit maps. On another note, we should flip a lot of the factions around, ie us on qinling brits on kashan. It would vary the playing field a bit.

actually the lynx could basically do the job right now, I don't see any problem with using the Essex as a placeholder, its one object right? You just need to remove a few objects and a few spawners, shove teh ocean in when its finished and viola! british marine map.

I'd be happy seeing US on Qinling, you can have it lads, take it, PLEASE take it!

Brits are my favorite faction and dont worry about the lack of brits maps thee bringing out new insurgent maps for the brits and ill bet they will change diffrent teams.

Guys this thread is going nowhere. The DEVs put such or such faction on a map for multiple reasons, the principal one being what is best for its game play. Changing a faction just because real life events have evolved is self defeating as PR does not strictly follow a story arc.
