The British use the L22A2.

Perhaps not, but local licenced production does. The MP5 is licence produced in both Iran linky and Pakistan linky

Hate to break it to you but the MEC aren't real. Aslong as there isn't a practical reason why not to give them the gun (too big etc) they can pretty much give them what they like, although the Devs seem to like the MEC weapons to 'fit' together as a range if you know what I mean.

I think you meant MEC's main weapon the G3 is so "Piece-of-****"-ish while the mp5 is so uberpwnage? that a range of weapons right?

the 2nd MEC rifle man should just be given an MP5 no nades no ammo reload smoke and a medpac and 6+1 Mp5 mags. and sunglasses
