Erm....
In all of my experiences, the if you line the cross hair up, and then take out your iron sights... you do not fire in the same place.

me and my friend tested his, as you get out your rifle it jolts the position slightly.

Its a great Idea I find my self using nothing but the Aimdot/Iron sites Knowning I have Great Close quoter combat and a sniper rifle.

Please do remove the binoculars being used for scopes.
The topic is kinda done with and it seems there's no need to ask for the request in discussion ;)

Your right about the jolting though marine, but due to the nature of the engine, your "crosshair" if you will, will stay in the same spot, the animation will just make it look like your not facing where you were originally. Was kinda nice that it made you feel like that, but didn't fix the issue if you knew that if you don't move your mouse or movement controls your pretty much in a proverbial gun vice.

Good to see the back end of the crosshairs though, they just got in the way of seeing what you wanted to see anyway...

AnRK is right, even with the animation "tricking" you into thinking your looking somewhere different, your point of aim is exactly same place unless you moved the mouse.
