Where can I find a straight explanation of WTH is Combined Arms? I understand it's a mod for PR, that models different "vehicles" (tanks, APCs, helicopters, aircraft etc.) a little bit more realistically. Am I right?

I mean, you got me insterested, but after reading some random Combined Arms forum messages (I mean the mod's own forum, not PR forum) I still can't seem to see the big picture... So much teasing and random details, but very little general specifics -- general goals etc.

Well the first page of this thread should explain everything. But the short version is that Combine Arms models realistic operation of Vehicles, bringing them closer to their real life counter-parts than every before in BF2 or PR.

Edit, also go watch the vids on the first page if you are still confused. They may be older versions of CA, but it should give you an idea.

I am currently uploading the required files. I am (trying) to get in touch with the guy who makes the installers but he's awol for now. They might not be up till early Friday I'm afraid.

Can't you still give us the files though? I know installer would make it idiot proof, but I don't see a reason why people can't join to do some early testing. TBH, most of us don't need the installer. I think McLuv's instructions are simple enough.

The Update file link no longer works however, and I wouldn't download the Base files yet, just because if we do get the installer, it would be useless anyways. However, this is how you would go about installing it if we don't in fact get an installer. File links updated as well, of course
