Very nice looking model! I can imagine Combined Arms would be able to put it to good use, but ofc that´s not up to me

However... no matter how well made or awesome the model is going to end up, it will with 99% chance not be included in PR.

Why? Russia still lacks any combined arms maps or helicopters in any shape, and this would be a great addition. Even if you plan on including the Mi-24 (which I hope happens), this could be used in many maps I'm sure

Well the KA-50 and KA-52 aren't really used (Russian Air Force - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

The Mi-24 looks to be much more used and is to be replaced with the Mi-28.

Wiki isn't the best source around, but I'm sure our MA's will agree.

Aquatic is well aware of this fact too

yeah, actually a Mil Mi-24 would be far more usefull and realistic

Someone should model a new Mi-24, the one we have now is Vanilla model.

You're thinking the Mi-28 because PR doesn't have a Mi-24.

And yeah, we need an AH1Z and a Mi-28N. The AH1Z is really an upgraded AH1W (new rotors, some of the new engines, and new TSS). The Mi-28 is pre-N I believe.

MEC is a fictional army, would be nice to see some more modern stuff for them instead of old Russian vehicles. If MEC is producing or buying Russian vehicles, it is possible that MEC would buy the rights or produce their down version of the chopper, and they are in need of one as it is.

I do understand for Russians though.

I wouldn't exactly call the Mi-28 old, it is first being pushed into Russian service around 2010-2015 it seems.

Thats a very good point. Pretty much all the Middle Eastern countries are now armed by the West apart from Iran. Even Iran still uses alot of Western weapons - some of it bought in the 70's, and alot of it copied and produced themselves since then.

I suppose the main MEC country still using alot of Russian stuff was the Iraqis, but I suspect there isn't much of that stuff left.

Maybe the MEC faction should be renamed Iranian faction, and it could use a mix of Western and Russian weapons.

Added what I believe is a wheel well for when the gear are up, detailed the back a bit and added fins on the wing tips. The detail on the back has made the mesh a bit scrappy so I'm sorting that out next.

Lookin' mighty fine. Whether or not it get's into pr (which I understand that it is a more specialized vehicle, with very few produced ), I'm sure CA could make some use out of it. I'm actually in love with a high caliber Auto-cannon with it's limitations. Would be very interesting to use in-game for sure

Care to comment? Is this your work, do you want it in PR? Kinda dont see the point in posting it here (in a 3 years old thread), if you dont.
