:-D

There are traitors in real life to the insurgent cause, they tell the Coalition where the ammo dumps are and the Insurgents just keep and eye of them.

You kinda have to do the same in-game.

Ok, A:

People saying it's realistic, so what? Have you forgotten this is a VIDEO GAME? And don't tell me that bullshit of "it's a realistic game", it's still a game, it should be fun.

B:

You can't defend a cache when you don't even have time to spawn on it because someone told the US where the cache is already and they are within 5 feet.

The other day I was playing Operation Archer and I spawned at a new cache, just popped up less than a minute ago, there was ONE other insurgent there, guess what? That insurgent told me to leave and to go to the airfield, I was wondering why, then I saw a US guy hiding in a shed, the US guy ran right infront of the insurgent (his name was iceman47 8) and neither of them shot at eachother, I then shot and killed the US guy and there was a whole squad of US around the corner who didn't kill iceman, but killed me.

This a game, it's meant to be fun, stop using "it's realistic" as your pathetic-*** excuse to ruin other people's games because you have nothing better to do then sit around on your sorry *** and grief people.

If you see them on separate teams, then one teamswitches, bingo.
And what if you have a guy on insurgents talking to a squad leader though private VOIP/chat? The squad leader will get the intel from his friend on the insurgent side, decide to search an area and just happen to "discover" a cache there.

To me ....to be honest....its easy to find caches....too easy, i dont see the need to cheat but it happens, and i did it once cuase the admins pissed me off and other squad members keep acting like the sql, just cuase i had no mic, to me i just was just loling .....HARD i had a freind on the other team.....and he a was playing right next to me on his pc on the tali side. so i grabed a apc and moved with no wory of any contact , while my squad just bichted and moan cuase once again.... i had no mic. but hey it happens

and for the wise . my no mic team , smashed all the voip and mumble teams. learn from that.

There is only a select amount of caches on the field at once. If you defend them, the enemy can't destroy them, even if he knows exactly where they are. The enemy knows where the flags are in conquest don't they? What stops them from capping all the flags?

You can't stop these cheaters from finding the location, but you can stop them from destroying the cache.

Is it possible to tell on the teamchat who has destroyed a cache? This would be bonus for legit players and a way to tell if some random dood is taking down all the nonmarked ones

That could also encourage people to actually hunt for caches instead of dickign around (not TOO much of this, but I still far too often see 2-3 full squads sitting in the base all game or building a FB in some useless location)

and with mumble too, on .85 a civi comes running into our FOB certain players start sayin "don't capture him he's our spy!" and when one of our guys did cuff him he got TK'd for it.

I lost a lot of respect for some high profile players then.

Maybe read the thread? Most of the time it happens there is already a whole squad 5 meters away from the cache before you even get to spawn and set-up ambushes.

Meh gooze you seem to have a lot of complaints on the subject matter and are quick to tell people that they're wrong... but I'm still waiting to see your proposed solution to this issue.

umm even if you have your defenses in place before the enemy-aided-by-cheater arrives it is much easier to destroy the cache if you know exactly where it is. Instead of having to search a 140m radius circly around an intel marker whilst fending off insurgent ambushes, the bluefor can simply be lead around insurgent ambushes directly to the cache building. Also, the popular and effective insurgent strategy of defending AWAY from the cache to misdirect the bluefor would be useless.

Anyways cheating/spying or "roleplaying" will get your arse kicked/banned on the TG server.

I already said I don't know a way to stop it, and I've already told the people who are wrong why they are wrong.

Hay there, i could not say that i never told the location of caches, but i was switched to the other team, so i told them area where is cache couse i didnt remember exact location. But i did it just once i didnt go back to other team again to spy on caches.
But yesterday i play on UKWF server when i have phone standing in the mosque, then player with CLAN tags spawn, tryed all kits and switch to other team. Then i look and i saw there was 6 players of the same clan (HPRC) or something like that. They also get caches before they got intel, they got about 5 caches this way. I dont like playing this way, couse is not fun. But I am I and thay are they. They are cheaters.

I had a guy in my squad yesterday who had teamswapped. he goes on and on and on saying "I think there is a cache in G1" at the start of the round I say "how do you know? they spawn up there at the start anyway"

he says "Cuz I teamswapped"

I told him that I will not go looking for caches whose location has been found via unscrupulous means. A few mins later, the intel marker came up on the G1 cache, we went and destroyed it.

Then he did the same thing for a southern cache. Which pissed me off, I told him he was dishonourable and that I'll kick him from my squad if I ever see him do that again.

But at least he did not sully my squad's honour since we didn't attack the caches he told us about.

Not all teamswitches are volutary, especially when he joins a squad that has no clanmates in it. I would personally use the information of cache locations if the server has switched me. It's different when people deliberatly switch sides during a round to get intel but I don't think there is much you can do about it.

really? Its just as easy and fun to continue the round in as if you hadn't got the information. Where are there insurgent contacts? Where are the rest of ur team that you can support? Where can you defend until intel is given?

You may know where the cache is since you were swapped, but doesn't mean you can't play fair.
