LMGs are fantastic, dunno only why Chechen and Insurgency don't have zoom on PKM, but Russians do, so my squad mate need to kill Russian and pickup his kit to be happy with PKM. Next thing that I do like it's, yes! More and more on PUBs I see teamwork, because if you are running alone somewhere, you'll get pinned by LMGs without escape, with the squad you can react easy on LMG, smoke-> suppress -> move -> or smoke -> move -> suppress -> advance.
It's easy, my clan mates are doing it all the time, LMG is NOT A PROBLEM for us, or, like you said, we are playing against retarded squads on servers (This is nonsense!). Well half of my clan mates are from CATA, including me, and it gives us an advantage because all of this were trained on PRT
RPs... Dunno again what are you whining about, in this game if you want to be good, you need to know how to survive in firefight, RP shouldn't be near that area at all... RP is for backup, if you want to hold RP in hot zone, where is realism if you keep spawning there all the time?

Same if some1 starts to say that revive system isn't good enough, now it's FREAKING FANTASTIC !!! Makes medics to learn how to play with their kit, I love that now in each INFANTRY squad there are always medic and LMG, makes squad more effective and capable to resist enemy attack. Imho about this things, they should stay as they are, they were changed with success, and I'm looking forward to next Campaign

This is a gameplay issue we're talking about, and tbh, they arn't making a realistic game anymore.. they're forcing YOU to play realistically.
IMHO, I love the scoped LMG's, but i feel that they're dulling down some aspects of the game in a workaround to force the hardcoded players to play properly...
I WISH they were making the game more about realism, but I feel like some things are being dulled down....
And the team in general has become a bit more bureaucratic too... making it a bit harder to introduce new features that may or may not make the game a better experience...
Also, they probably complain just as much to each other as we do to them....
I helped one guy make a map, and there was some guy insulting on every great aspect about that map i loved (specifically details that really made it feel like i was there, and this guy was like "I see no point wahwahwah")
...*sigh* And with everything, people become so into the one way they do things, it's kind of hard to think of another way of doing things, unless you are actively searching for a different way to things and thinking of all the possibilities...
Great Job Devs, though sometimes i wish you guys did a few things differently, i guess you guys know what we want =)

Its not that.. its that any random aimless wandering squad can destroy it without even realizing it's there...
=/ And we wernt even IN a hot zone.. we were like.. 200m from our BASE. the next objective was 700m.
._. wth is that?
=/ I just think there's a better way to go about doing it than the old or the current system... =/

because Russians are a conventional faction. In a future version of PR the PKM will be given a scope for the Russians akin to the m249 now. the insurgents and chech are less conventional and this is reflected in lack of scopes.

Why do you take this view? Surely the Russian army is a conventional army which would bring as many scopes etc with them as possible?

That means that on this MG (PKM) can be added optical or night vision scope, but I didn't saw ANY... And still imho PKM with the scope is something none standard and it will bring up a big noise from Russian players side, in counting me

And I found IMG of this IMBA thing

Don't look at it's base, this thing is called тринога it's made for PKM to fire at air assets... I'm talking about scope only...

...and it has different calibre too:
NSV = 12,7 mm
PKM = 7,62 mm

Good news! The 1p29 will not only fit on a PKM & Pecheneg equipped with the dovetail, it has a cam specially designed to compensate for drop when attached to either weapons.
Seeing as PR takes place in the near future, I'd expect to see the Russians fielding more & more optics.

Yer, think you'll find that it was tested and tested and tested. But their is only so much you can do witha small amount of people..
People seem to forget that this mod is a constant WIP, so bugs will re emerge, even after ***+hours and around 11 test builds, just to the testers... also remember all this is free, and the people working on said builds are doing it for free also.
Bugs are reported, and the DEVs and testers then endeavour to irradicate them, and a very good job the DEVs and us testers do too.
As for gameplay changes, oh well, you win some you loose some, how about a little positivity to the DEVs and the Mod team as a whole, instead of just bitching them out about anything taht may seem '****' to you.

Wife and kids away this weekend lots of PR:
SAW is awesome, forces teamwork as pointed out elsewhere - cover supress move - as a squad, but IMO an excellent mod. just for that reason!
Limited kits....perfect for Limiting Medic and SAW, but what gets a bit annoying is the wait to change after limited kit, no realistic advantage there, it's probablly some core/engine problem....
RPs... clearly realism v gameplay, I play PR for a more realistic less arcade (VBF) style. I would almost like to see one death only, medivac hueys (wheelbarrow for insurgents) and over the shoulders like ARMA 2, followed by with a short wait, 2mins minimum, in a field hospital, imagine trying to deal with that in a fire fight, where the extraction of your mate becomes No1 priority!
Could we not have the RPS as a first aid station or field hospital buildable asset?
For me barring the bugs it's just OK, but it does seem a tiny bit quick to vanish - does anyone know the details on when it disapears?
Mumble... Got on it friday for testing - excellent - been on it ever since, with PTT, on Muttrah today (ABC Sunday eve GMT) in an APC hunting a very pro. US squad amongst the containers - could keep hearing them knowing they're still alive - but felt a bit close to cheating as they had no way to hear (why were they using Mumble for squad chat?????).
This game need SL comms urgently!!!!
IMO Mumble replacing VOIP totally would be the way to go; with all server players on positional channel, Same team SL's channel, CO channel for SL's and maybe some hand signals, or add local move markers for all players like SLs have, but only in players field of view, with suppress, cover, contact, smoke, 1 guy move, two guys move etc, in another comms rose.
Nice to dream huh?
It has to be very hard for PR inbetween VBF and milsim games like ARMA2

Whilst there's a few little things I'd like to see changed/restored, there's nothing significantly detrimental to game play that warrants a hot fix.
I like the new LMGs and the fact they're effectively decimating people, I just think it would be nice for the other weapons to lose a bit of deviation/settle time.
Rally points aren't a problem, if used conservatively they can be maintained, they're intentionally difficult to use close to the enemy. Limited spawn kits are also fine IMO.
