Yeah its getting there slowly. The server is now very popular, and we have almost a full server of mumblers everynight. We still seriously need to work on the teamwork side of things though.

At times its fantastic ( usually between 6pm - 11pm GMT ) but unfortunately at other times it can be terrible. Hopefully the password will help improve the standard, and also now that we have the numbers, the admining of teamwork will become alot more harsh. Its great to see more and more clans joining us, as you guys tend to lift the standard alot.

Remember that although the password is currently public, in a few weeks, it will only be posted in the private sections of our forum.

You will also find our Mumble download, and Mumble guide on our website, which includes some pointers on Mumble etiquette.

I think happens on nearly every server. I stoped playing in the afternoon, because teamwork was simply to bad. To many kiddies or what ever, I don't know.

However, Mumble-only Nights are a really gread experience. Especially funny, when your team is bunched up and everyone is just messing around :D :D

i think i've found my new favourite server! thanks for the game last night on Korengal (spelling?) i had a great time. and thanks for not booting me for not talking on mumble, i hate not being able to join in the hilarity with you guys. on that note please tell me someone recorded the R-Dev circle in the tunnel system? a mate of mine who i'm trying to convert to mumble thinks i'm making it up! i loved some of the role play with the Taliban as well (if you were within ear shot you'll know what i mean) i just wish i could remember the names of my squad mates! i know SL was cfschris but that's all i remember.

i'm hoping for the same again today. for anyone who isn't sure registering on the community or getting mumble is worth it then it most definitely is.

-Were they the Goatraper squad or whatever? Those wierdos were chanting or something down there while I was lying in a hole crying for a medic :p .

i believe it was yes that was probably during the R-Dev worshipping although we had some lessons in Arabic as well. was generally a laugh all night though. if you guys had ever managed to get the cache it would have been a miracle, we had 3 pkms and a saw down there at the end (not all our squad) i would have continued playing but the server crash reminded me it was late and i had only slept 20 hours in the last 170 so i gave up and went to bed.

that may well have been me  were you guys in a little house in a compound (sorry i have no idea what places are called) i jumped over the wall then went in the way you guys did. chased you around for a few seconds because i couldn't quite stab you. should have just shot you in the back when i had the chance! got you in the end though.

That was a long round of Korengal :)

Best part for me was right at the beginning, when my squad rushed straight into Outpost with a technical at the round start - There was much "allah akbar-ing"

somehow i was a bit disappointed with the teamwork side of things. sure there was a bit of infoexchange between squads once in a while or the typical two squads run behind one leader instead of two behind two. I found it surprising that in no single round I played on the server anyone stood up to be commander.

But I guess the server is still young and much fun to be had.

i believe spacemanc was commanding the MEC on Muttrah last night but i agree more people need to be prepared to stand up and lead. i think the problem stems from the fact the commander doesn't get much in the way of action but there's no way around that without the commander being like vanilla and running around on the front lines.

Its hard to find a commander anywhere in PR nowadays, and due to the benefits of mumble, a commander is even more redundant ( because squads can communicate with each other directly via mumble )

Remember that tonight is the first night of our passworded weekends, which will now be used all weekend, every weekend!

The password is mumble

Hopefully, this will improve the teamwork and mumble use, even more! But we do need the support of you mumblers, and teamworkers to make it work :)

In future the password will be posted on our website for members, so sign up here and join out rapidly growing community! :

Join the Reality Teamwork Community

If the passworded weekends are successful, then the password will become permanent!

Jump on and give it a try - every seems to love it and keeps coming back - even people who have had bad experiences with mumble in the past.

We'll also be launching our second US based server very soon, so it would be great to see you signing upto the community :)

Even although we had only ~ 20 players, this friday night was great fun. Hell, that round of Asad Khal was even my best round of PR yet! You can't imagine this new level of immersion if you haven't experienced it for yourself.

hehe, that round of Asad was pretty epic :) I thought the MEC were gonna go for an easy victory but the British Rallied very nicely!

I do think though that alot of people are starting to get over the novelty of being able to teabag with voices now, 2 channels for RT would be much appreciated so that the teams cannot hear eachother. It makes for a much more realistic experience tbh.

Why its more realistic:

1) Being able to talk to the enemy leads some players to teabag endlessly, or even sometimes become a little insulting.
2) the enemy being able to hear you gets players to use vBF2 voip alot more, as they don't want to be overheard. This is fine when sneaking behind enemy lines as mumble has no whisper function, but it means its hard to talk about anything with friendlies with dead enemies under you.

its also more relaxed, the enemy not being able to hear you means you'll talk to your blue friends more. And this isn't particualrly bad since the enemy can't ehre us atm with vbf2 voip OR teamspeak/vent, so we aren't losing anything.

the only REAL disadvantage is taht you can no longer negotiate with the enemy, a couple of times I've allowed the enemy to leave a flag unharmed in return for surrendering the ground :D , collaborators can no longer tell the Blufor to stop headshotting them, and Pilots cannot ask their captors to...not kill them.
