With the ATV, you could actually ride up a hill and come back down alive. The dirtbike would either explode immediately or be engulfed in flames.

Once you learn to drive them they are my favorite mode of transport, next to my beloved LAV. They are small, agile and extremely fast. The only problem is the punishment they can take. I suggest they do what they did with the choppers in that they beef up the hit points on it but have it undrivable at about 70%. This way they can be better on tough terrain but still vulnerable to small arms and such. Because the way they are now they're more akin to racer tuned scooters rather than cross country motor bikes.

It's pretty controllable once you get used to it, here's some hints, SLOW DOWN before you take a turn, and not when you get to the turn, like 10 meters before you get to your turn. Using the A and D key is not for turning just by themselves, lean slightly also.
I agree that it needs to be able to take more damage though.

Keep the dirtbike. Just give it some more HP and make it possible to drive over hills. It's made for hills etc. but in PR they're just bullshit.

the dirt bike needs mroe hit points but untill then i suggest thse tips:
1.when driving at high speeds don't use A and D they make you slide around use the mouse instead to lean around burnt out cars etc.
2.if you are being chased by a choppa drive around low buildings then turn into a small street with either tall buildings or very narrow this way the choppa will either crash or loose you, never go on open ground it will muller you
3. when providing tranport make sure you drive slower because if yo crash you'll look like an idiot to the other guy
4.avoid as many jumps as possible no matter how temting it will total your bike or damage it enough to be totaled next time

Except dirt bikes become un-driveable the moment you use one to get somewhere because they're so sensitive.

It needs suspension, softer but more damping so its doesnt hit alwas and make the crash sound, lag removed somehow, and take less damage, motorbike is a nice sturdy thing in RL...
