Plus I can spray at short range.
The red dot sight is nice, but the m16 is many times more accurate and better for longer ranged encounters.

I think they can be even more useful w/the grappling hooks

How about having pickup-kits in an 'armory' at base where there is 4 Spec-Ops kits w/grapples? Then that class can really dominate; NAVY SEAL style to prep the battlefield before the main force comes in.

and the USMC doesn't use the m16a2, the SPR, the m24, the uh-60, the mh-6 (littlebird),or the Bradly Linebacker. They also do not use the camoflague used in game, either. They wear dark brown kevlar-not sand brown and green like in BF2. Obviously, we are dealing with a much larger force than the USMC.
~off topic- I want to see the Huey in game! BH is army (dice are such noobs

)

I play Spec-Ops because I love the M-4 in real life (and carabine AR-15's in general)

Um, don't they use the M16A2?
I'm surprised EA didn't use the M40 inplace of the M24 though.
What are Marine spotters armed with now? Do they still use the M14/21?

I so desperately want to see a blinged out sniper m14 (yes thats the technical military term). Those vietnam era rifles simply kickass at blowing chunks of peoples brains out of thier heads.

thanks guys! ive been playing the spec ops class a bit more, and im having some fun with it, i still prefer playing support and getting my 30+ kills 5- deaths, but i feel like spec ops is more of a challenge =D
