Asking myself why EA has done this!
I really got the impression that the main intention of the 1.3 Patch was to destroy modding teams...
I am not sure if this is related to the upcoming release of Battlefield 2142 (no mods-> Players will buy the new game!)
Maybe the best thing would be to think about moving to another Engine/Game (maybe enemy territory quake wars?)

NOO ArmA engine
or if EA ever release the engine source code we could make our own where you dont need BF2 at all.

It sucks that you guys put so much time into these new modes only for them to be broken so soon, but really Xtract idea is cool but in play its not that entertaining for a few reasons and sobj is also not that fun in play for a few reasons. AAS is the bread and butter of PR. Add content, guns, maps, armies first and add modes later. It could have been much worse imo.

Stop EA bashing. The fact that this mod has conflicted with the patch is not intentional. The fact is, when DICE added their own new game mode they had to fiddle around with the game mode settings and it's consequently messed up on our side. Please, if all you're going to say is how much you hate EA and DICE, don't bother. Play 1.3, play 1.22, whatever, let's just all hold hands and wait for the Devs to pop out 0.31.

i really hope you guys figure out a solution because this could be messy to promoters bring new players! expanding the mod and bringing new players is essential!

EA trys to make them look like they help the modding coimmunity but they always mess them up. I thing that ea should of fixed al the bugs befor realesing games then they work with modding community to make the game more enjoyable. like the ranking system turns a bunch of people away from mods which sucks.

Their support to the mod teams or mod enthusiasts has always been very limited.
EA even let go one of their lead guys on the job (out of a handful). Their support AFAIK had pretty much evaporated when I last checked.
So let's not give them credit where it isn't due. Unless it's for kicks

Well, as for EA "Fixing" a few bugs and adding air drop, this 1.3 patch I am sure is designed for the release of the new expansion that they have coming soon. They did this last time with the SF expansion. So you can bet that there will be a patch to update the patch that this patch messed up.
PR has done such a good job creating this great mod that it beats the EA original but I am affraid that once PR figures this patch out only to see another EA update. I have faith and PR has a lot of loyal fans. Great job PR. Take your time, I know it will be worth it.
contribute PRMM
