Anyways not only is this an authentic bipod to be used on an SVD, it is also superior to other mounting solutions. Because the SVD barrel is not free-floated, upward pressure on the handguard or barrel can cause a shift in the point of impact -- by mounting the bipod on the receiver, this problem is somewhat relieved.

Amazing job.

When I saw it all I could think was 'awesome'. As far as detail goes this weapon seems to outclass others (imo) simply because there is a good level of detail on the real thing so you can go nuts on the model.

Yes there will be an insurgent version as well with some changes to make it fit the insugent role.

receiver looks way too high/fat in my opinion.
