Secondly, why should it only be implented to OPFOR, the MEC is a fictionalized and what looks to be a very well funded state with a superb military. The Chinese also have a good army. I think IF this idea is introduced which I hope it very well doesn't that it apply to both teams.

And also Ozovich, don't use that word that you used to describe one of Asian heritage, its a racist word.
I Just said that Commander killing should be implemented to OpFor only. Blufor commanders in RL are usually in larger, harder to snipe buildings, Like in Blackhawk Down, where the Commander is in his fortified post at base, but in Jarhead, the Marine Snipers take down the Iraqi commander who is out in the open.

1. the snipers dont, they call in a airstrike.
2. most OPFOR (MEC, PLA) are conventional forces so the commander would be back like IRL.

Bulletproof glass is bulletproof, get engi kit put 10 c4´s on a truck and drive it right to commanderbox...

Btw: in reality people do attack bases, well if its project reality then there should´not be such thing like baserape, because if the ground soldiers cant defend there base or commander, its there problem.

Having a proper "commander" for a 32-man force isn't equivalent to what any conventional army would do in real life anyway. That roughly equates to a platoon, which would be commanded by a low ranking officer. He would be engaged in the action with his platoon, unlike the BF2 imported commander seen in PR, who would likely be a Battalion Commander and would be far behind the front line.

So really, you can't compare the PR commander to a real life army, because someone commanding such a small unit would be in the fighting with them, not back at base.

no.... IRL bases are far away from front lines and HEAVILY guarded, both of which are not possible in PR due to map limitations and team sizes.

remember, tickets represent men... so really the commander is commanding 200+ people.

all this will achieve, is EVERY sniper on the map going to the enemy base and sniping the enemy.
