Would it be a good idea to give the L86A2 LSW a deployed mode as well? It does have auto fire after all.

Hmmm, effective marksmen. Maybe just maybe we have found the AR worst enemy. Provided the AR is set up and stationary, unfortunately i have seen far too many AR's being used in this matter: Run, dive and open up straight away and kill the guy who has sat patiently for the last 5 Min's making sure his deviation is low.

If you can't do that it would remove offensive fire and movement tactics all together. The AR needs to move up with the squad. If thier accuracy from a set up position soon after they've dived for cover is gimped too badly they cant effectily do thier job, which is rather unrealistic.

That guy should have shot the AR then... If hes been waiting it shouldn't even be a problem.
Although the AR does settle mighty quick, I remember a bit ago I somehow survived and my whole squad died on Fools Road (or some other forest map). enemy squad was after me, so i shot and killed one then ran for my life, bullets pounding around my feet. I went prone in a ditch, switched to deployed mode and then stood up when they were kinda close and slaughtered half of them before they even knew what was going on (and they knew where I was, they were chasing me)..... Of course the squad killed me in the end.

The problem I seem to have is if I miss slightly or hit and not kill the AR will just continue to plaster me with the LMG. I have won some outrageous gun battles with where the opponent has seen me right in the open and waits for his rifle to settle while I just hit the dirt and unload my clip, despite the appalling accuracy the sheer volume of fire I can put down still means I get a kill. Id rather have it so the AR uses his LMG to suppress so his squad can flank and kill rather than being an easy weapon to get kills with

If he refuses to be suppressed it is his fault he got shot, you can't win a head-on firefight against an AR. When you see one shoot at you, get behind cover.
