Anyway how do you do wheelies? I've seen quite some people do it.
All you have to do is move the mouse up while you are riding, although I wouldn't recommend that for more stable driving.
On the bikes you got to give it plenty of gas before the bike straightens out. The hardest time to deal with them is when you don't have room to "take off".

As long as you're not speeding when it's icy, you'll be fine.

I can ride them just fine. Just don't take corners fast, SLOW DOWN!

Karbala is a good map for learning to ride the bikes properly. Lots of flat open space, perfect. Just watch out for Strykers.
I really wish it were possible to look left and right while on the bikes, by holding a view button like when flying a chopper. That's something they're really lacking.
Also, they could do with being a bit tougher, they're off-road bikes after all. But it's not like that hasn't been sugested over 9000 times before.

Easy to drive, A and D to turn on low speed and mouse to steer on high/max speed.

I cant get the bike out of the initial lean-all-the-way-to-one-side position. Instead I fly around in circles holding A or D and/or slamming my mouse into the walls around my desk trying to right the dang thing.. then blow up because I scraped along one too many times.
If you can all use them, so be it, but I stay away from those things as they are pure evil!

I'm saddened that the bikes don't work for everyone. They're very useful.
I can drive them with relative ease, with an FPS of around 50-60. In the city or in areas where there are bumps and/or obstacles, I tend to slow down to avoid speeding right into those tricky light poles that materialize right in front of you. (

)
But on the open road like parts of Al Basrah's open desert, I put the pedal to the metal. Interestingly enough, the bike becomes easier to control, much smoother, when at full speed on these wide desert expanses. Maybe it's just me, but it looks like it turns cleaner. (Granted, it may be the looser movement of the FPS rise due to less objects being rendered)
Also, this may be a placebo, but I think pressing/holding Shift gives the bikes a boost like in a Humvee or Land Rover.
Drive safely.

yeah its not that hard after practice, if only they couldnt blow from road bumps
I lol'd
Also, Go slow, use your mouse for most of your turns, and don't hit bumps.

For me mouse on this thing is to sensitive. I never can go straight. For me it's 10 times more hard then driving a real bike.

I never drive them due to the weird lag (that only happens on the bike) but I just love seeing one come by at the speed of sound and desintegrate on the nearest obsticle.

But as everyone else said, it takes ALOT of practice.
yeah the first time you power slide round a corner and scream off down the road it makes all the practice worth while

The worst thing about motorcicles its when you can't even lift it up, whatever you do, accelerate, reverse moving the mouse, you get stuck e neither Alah himself can make it...

Lol. I have got to try that.
Salmonella wrote:The worst thing about motorcicles its when you can't even lift it up, whatever you do
Yeah, they have a tendency to do that. Best thing to do is to point the front of the bike away from the road and gun the gas so that you can lift the bike as you gain speed.
It's irritating though, cause it's very funky to do and often damages the bike a bit, since it seems to scrape along the road.
I would love to see the 'lean' restricted to certain angles so that when you get on the bike it won't topple over and land on top of you when sitting still. Just as long as it's not too restrictive that you can't lean into your turns properly.
