Does anyone know the rate of fire of the gun on this thing? I've been trying to find it through google, no luck as of yet... the same gun on a different turret and vehicle seems to fire about 10 rds/min. Does that sound about right?

This might be an interesting vehicle for the MEC to go around pimping in, serving as a sort of Scimitar/AMX-10 RC equivalent while the AU gets finished up. Your source had Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and the UAE operating the vehicle, the Saudis in large numbers, so it probably wouldn't be all that unrealistic. It'd be a great way to get the vehicle into the game, anyway.

I believed they used the AML 90 version with the 90mm gun too in the Falklands

Bao has been AFK for the past few months.

I guess the model isn't 100% finished. Bao only worked on French and PR stuff since 2010, I suppose he hasn't made progress on this asset.

Any knowledge on how long he will be gone for haute?

well 5/2/12 has been a while until now thought i would re open this Wheres Bao question.. Any one hear from him? i know Rhinos still working like a champ on that falkland project it would be nice to see this model show up for that.

As per the Falklands Community Tasks topic it seems that there is very little chance of Bao finishing this so if anyone wants to give it a shot let both ARF and PR:F know as we both could really use this!

What does it need to be finished? Is the mesh complete?

We don't have the mesh from Bao and most likely never will so needs to be made again from scratch.
