yes... i use widescreen too...
maybe it happens because the mouse were configured in widescreen mode...
I am using two diferents folders... "battlefield 2" and "battlefield 2 old" inside ea games...
no ctd... and hit reg works better...
i play only pr more than year so everybody seens to be an cheater in bf2 1.5...

Guys, please wait. Did anybody realize that the patch breaks a lot of things, not just alt-tab. What about the commander markers - that's a pain especially when the team wants to make commanders more important now. And there's nothing broken about the present version of PR...

It's a Dice patch no doubt. Just what they always did, break more then fixing more.

If you want to play PR so much, then don't install 1.5, if you did install, then wait a day or to for 0.87...frigging "workaround".

well i wanted to be able to play both, and there are alot of other people out there that do too... so, i just posted a way of doing it lol.. if you do it the way i said, it works perfectly fine... not hard at all... the new patch could come out tomorrow, or in 2 weeks!

If PR 0.87 isn't out before
PAX (this weekend), I intend to use a similar workaround so I can play on the BF2 1.5 servers at PAX while being able to play PR 0.86 online. However, I'm going to have the renamed folder be my old copy of BF2 1.41, so future addons (like PR 0.87) will go to the BF2 1.5 folder.
My shortcuts will look like this:
Battlefield 2 1.5: Z:\Games\EA Games\Battlefield 2\bf2.exe
Project Reality 0.86: Z:\Games\EA Games\Battlefield 2 1.41\mods\pr\pr.exe

Well I played 1.5 for a bit and I don't notice a damn bit of difference, prone diving still seems to yield low deviation, and 'crouch popping' does the same. Only difference seems to be widescreen support.

Just wanted to chime in that this workaround is serviceable.
It only costs you about 5 gigs of space or so and you don't have to wait to try out 1.5.
1.5 is worth it. The new maps are actually pretty fun, and, despite the report above, I murdered several people earlier today who were trying traditional "dolphin dive" tactics that ordinarily would have worked.
They just couldn't hit me like they normally could (except for the guy with the DAO-12, but, whatever).
Being able to crawl past claymores is very nice, too, especially for Karkand, trying to grab Hotel from the stairs... and any nerf to jets is going to be good for gameplay.
It's not as solid as project reality, by any means, but, it certainly is a good action injection when you get tired of being bossed around by a rude squad leader and defending a point in the desert that is never going to be attacked because your squad leader doesn't understand AAS rules. So, take a break, go play BF, get killed by the attack helo about 15 times, get sick of that, and come back to PR.
It's a neverending loop!

I'll agree with you on that, I'll patch up when PR patches up, honestly I don't see what the improvements are with the 1.5 patch, but I don't have it so perhaps I'm missing it.

the most noticeable change is that the f35 is pretty much suppierior to the j10 now... the F35 is faster then the j10 and the j10 can't turn as sharp anymore.

And the I/O players are enjoying getting less dust when trying to hit someone. Blue Pearl is nice if the U.S. can get a foothold in the city. The AF and EF maps are nice now that they are populated. I enjoy patch 1.50 overall.
