Ahhh well the attk huey was fun while it lasted. Glad to see it fixed though...
Also good to see the LAT and HAT's back to awesomeness again.

That is great, I am glad they are implementing the ability to add more than one mine marker. Unfortunately that will not stop anyone from running them over, they still do it even when I place my one and only marker.
This whole informant and UAV thing is a pretty sweet deal. I like commanding as is (when people listen) now that I will have such an invaluable intelligence tool, should be a lot more interesting. Maybe people will actually want to listen to you as well since you will be seeing things the squads on the ground can not.
Guess the days of insurgents running around the cache building with PKMs and RPGs are over...hah, yeah right! Well now these idiots will be seen well before the ground pounders do. Maybe people will be more inclined to setup away from the cache building knowing they are being watched.

well i like all the changes except the no tracers for insurgents.....i hope it means just the ak's cuz the belt fed ammo the use in real life for the automatic weapons do have tracers

- Removed tracers from all of the Insurgent/Taliban weapons.
- Reverted LAT and HAT projectile explosion radii back to v0.85 values.

I wondered why the attack hueys seemed so prolific recently. It looks like they will go back to being like Santa Claus sightings on December 24th: few and far between.

Basically it goes like this:
DICE added deviation when going prone, PR just cannot alter that value. PR wanted a huge effect on deviation when going prone, we cannot have that now, we just got less.

WTF was Dice thinking? They knew that prone spam was a problem in BF2, but to make the limit even lower and then hardcode it?

DICE added prone deviation as it is in 2142.
They added deviation.
PR just would have wanted to add even more, which cannot be done now as the value is hardcoded.
Not the best words i chose on the first post.

It doesn't make them worse, but it's not a great improvement... At close ranges I've found that prone-diving still works better than any other tactic - But it should make it more difficult to prone dive at longer ranges which is more relevant to PR.
Annoyingly DICE have taken the easy route with the patch - They've implemented some features, but to do so they've compromised other parts of the game and overall it feels crude and unfinished.

Everything sounds good. Thank you all very much. I especially like more mine markers for the grunts with explosives.
