There is one inherent flaw in all multiplayer special operations games: in a real special operations mission, the SF would operate by surprise when the enemy's guard is down. In an online game, the opponents of the SF team would obviously be aware of their presence and the goal of their mission.
The only feasible way of doing things would be to have everybody on a single team performing regular duties, yet a small section, spread out among the group, would be secret agents. The team wouldn't know who are the agents, and there would be a number of possible objectives that would have to be guarded. Any sort of method of deciding who to be the agents, briefing the agents, and getting the agents and enemies all on one team without the enemy team identifying who were the agents would be impossible in BF2.
