Thanks for the info, I started freaking out for a second.

I had this working very early this morning so it was a tad more disconcerting than loading to a black screen after installation.

Oh yeah, commander'ing is actually going to be a lot more fun now. I flew two around muttrah, it turns out the aa barrier destroys the uav by the way.

Same genius who designed insurgency changes in v.086 probably designed the current system that cripples PR if it doesn't get news ticker data... because we really really care more about getting up to the second news than actually playing the game... real Genius.

Well he has a point (though there's no point being a **** about it). I don't know if it's because the way DICE designed the system or if it was something BSS created, but making the game unusable just because a news ticket server is down is a serious fault in the design. Hopefully somebody will be able to do something about it to avoid this kind of a problem in the future.

Is this anything to do with the homepage being hacked?
