BHD is NOT a reliable source and never will be...
When i think about it, no movies are!
We've all seen grenades destroy buildings in movies.
I've even seen a guy that had a scope on a shotgun and sniped with it.
So please, please, pleaaaase stop using movies or Generation kill or whatever as sources.
[EDIT]
Oh, and RPG damage is perfect now.
so is the splash.
And we should stop talking about before the DEVs nerf it like they did to the Ak-47!

My Point was that that was his evidence contradicting him...

Rpg-7 carrier can use akms with few rounds(3, include on weap when you take it first time)
I think rpg-7 is need only focus on vehicle not infantry. So rpg-7 carriers need other firearm for cover himself for small duration or can include in fight when out of rgp-7 ammo.
Sorry for my bad English but I hope you can understand me

The Taliban RPGs do have other weapons.
the Insurgents do not have the resources to give people more than one weapon...

An Insurgent with an RPG has 3 RPGs, not just one like the other LAT kits, so it balances.

orly? i would imagine its more for the fact that carrying a RPG and ammo and a rifle and ammo would weigh alot.

Not to mention that a sidearm wouldnt be necessary if the RPG-gunner works as he should be doing - in s group, together with other insurgents. For every RPG there should be a guy carrying an AK, ready to protect the RPG.
On topic: RPGs are just fine.

tbh it A) Dm as both suggest that the RPG man should only have his RPG and B) Would be a mixture of the two.
And tbh if I were the Insurgent cell leader - I wouldn't waste two weapons on one guy when I could have 2 guys with 1 weapon each

I'll show you a video and leave you to judge.
However, I think the Russian HAT should get a Thermobaric RPG-7. That would compensate for the fact that they are a conventional army.

The TBG-7V Thermobaric round is specifically for use against fortifications and lightly armoured vehicle. Perhaps you mean the PG-7VR Tandem round?

Well I thought the Tandem round was already going to be implemented, but HAT should have the choice to switch off to Thermobaric as well.
The thermobaric round works by utilizing a small amount of oxidizer (the main oxidizer is O2) and metal powder with a small HE core. This generates a heat hot enough to melt most metals.
Some soldiers in Chechnya were given the TBG-7V, and describe it similar to a 155 mm shell. I'm sure there was a source for this, it should be pretty easy to bring up (was it on Wikipedia????).
This would differ Russian HAT from an INS HAT a bit more.

source? thermobaric munitions use liquid fuel in it, at start there is small explosion to create a cloud of fuel then it gets initiated so you get volume explosion with massive pressure jump
english term for it is FAE/FAX i believe
Fuel/Air Explosive (FAE)

you can meet such claims( about 120mm or even 155mm shell), it usually said about RPO-A and its derivatives, in example in Janes
RPO-A Shmel rocket infantry flame-thrower - Jane's Land Forces News , TBG round for RPG-7 should be far less effective imo
though i never seen TBG rounds in field, i think RPO used more
