thats an amphibious tank i believe. i bet that camo works pretty well when its in the water, but when it gets on shore it must be like a giant bullseye! lol

ye, but when its in the water most of the camo paint is going to be under the water :p

They should have painted the bottom 1/2 of the vehicle that goes under the water in green :p

It looks more like Tetris to me. If a round hits the armor next to three blocks of the same color as the ammunition, does the vehicle explode?

looking at this i think any camo except one, hiding you on the shore, is useless
1)usual camo blends pretty well
2)unusual wont hide you on the shore
3) you have huge give away wave track behind you in the water anyway

Did a little experiment on this yesterday!

Here's a brief temp skin i managed to draw up (note to scale)

See how the thing isn't blurred?

But in game, it is:

And thats with everything on high, so for the majority of players who use medium - low settings, the texture will look like a dsigusting blue of mess and eugh.

The only way we could get around this would be to probably double the chinese tanks texture size to the 2048 size, like the challenger, however this would be a considerable memory hog.

Well, if the Chinese tank is going to eventually be a custom PR model, wouldn't a 2048 texture be necessary? Don't we want them all to be of the same or similar quality?

It's true, and this should fix all of our problems.

Although, I think we should create an Option C, where PR.exe checks your Pc's specs. If your PC isn't top of the range, vista compatible, with headset plugged in, and capable of running PR on all maxed out settings with an FPS above 35, it kicks you, uninstalls itself, and tells you to get a better PC.

the skin is not perfect, but i would prefer it over the current skin
oh, and ofcause your PR.exe hack would be overkill :-D
