What defines 'US map' here? As far as I know, each one also has an opposing faction. You could consider Kashan Desert a US map, but it could also be a MEC map.

All maps should be converted into the USMC versus the US Army.
Really no need for any other factions, they are just wasting space.

Just a completely unbiased opinion from an American.

I think its about time we increase the amount of asset heavy maps. Right now, we only have one Army map thats combined arms, and thats the only one that has Jets. Only 1 map with the Apache for the Army. Same with the USMC, theres only one map with a Cobra, and none with Jets at all. If not the Army, the USMC should at least get one more 4x4 Combined Arm's map. If its not the Cobra's I want to fly (I can, but they're so abused and useless on Muttrah) I'd at least would like to see some USMC jet support in the form of the Harrier or F/A-18.

Well c i joined the USMC at 17 and I love the corps and for some reason I just find it boring playing US Army (I have nothing against the army, and I know that we would never go into war with china so I don't really play PLA maps either (plz I dont want a discussion about if the US will go to war with China if you think different message me... Looking into the current operations in Afghanistan I was mainly focused on another USMC map vs Taliban in Afghanistan with armor, Cobras, UH attach and transport (Huey), LAV etc... I mean i do not think that would be an over kill because people have a hard enough time beating the Taliban on Archer as it is. What do you guys think? Maybe the mod after .9?

Guys, I think he means USMC maps, not US Army maps. To which I agree, we need more USMC maps, less US Army maps.

yes as I said above I dont have anything against US Army its just I like playing the branch I joined up as lol and I hate PLA maps because it would never happen but MEC maps I could see happening in a way... So any future USMC maps vs Taliban?

Did u know that probably %90 of the players dont care if its US army or USMC?They are same.

On topic, tbh who the factions are is less important than the maps themselves.

US are spoiled. Brits need more maps back.

Every Team needs more maps

I'm working hard to help the Brits though , and hopefully it won't take too long since I have a helper (my mate Stoffen). We've assigned eachother sections of the map to do staticwise speaking, so there is less to do individually

The US Army is not the same as the USMC, both in real life and in PR.

In PR the difference is barely noticeable. The M4 and M16 are presented as the same gun, to the point that I can't actually remember off the top of my head if they don't just both use the M4. The AT systems and armor are the same, the majority of air power provided is the same, the only intimidate difference is the transport helicopters, but most people don't pilot.

Another difference I just recalled. On USMC maps you have the LAV, on US A maps you have the Stryker. But then again USMC maps are amphibious in nature, so there's no point for them to have a stryker anyway.

if you look at their gear it resembles the same gear as Iranian soldiers use and carry. Look up Iranian military pics... Standard weapon is the G3. And its a middle Eastern setting.

I just want more maps with the US (preferably the USMC) against the Taliban. Korengal Valley is my absolute favorite map and would love to see more maps like the fighting going on in Afghanistan, and maybe putting the Brits in there too? The USMC and Brits are my favs. But i would also love to see alot more combined arms maps, I dont care what faction, everybody knows they love a good round on Kashan.
