Thread cleansed.

Now, that being said, we have any more of these shenanigans and I'll start cleansing users, y'all dig?

The only limit to C4 map size is the user's memory. It is well capable of huge maps. We wouldn't have chosen it if it were not.

i have not mapped with wireframes before but fromwhat i have learned its harder to make larger maps compared to a heightmap-based mapping. you get better quality and have more possibilities but its will take more time :? ??:

Any mapping configuration that allows you to sculpt a giant phallus just simply has to be win on an epic scale.

So how many folks does it support and also are you guys still thinking about charging for this? If that is the case I don't play as much anymore for me to warrant purchasing a game. Let me know. Thanks.

From me playing around with the C4 map editor, I love the free-form brush tool, its like sculping a piece of pottery.

I'm not sure which DEV posted, but one of them posted an ammo crate that looked SO amazing with the lighting on one of the C4 maps.

Also, fast ropes.... is it possible in C4?

If it was my ammo crate you were talking about then thank you and here is a link for the thread: https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f11-of ... ost1191183

Took me a while to find, so many PR2/C4 related threads, so if people could start centralizing stuff in already created threads that would be great.

WHOA, that's amazing! At first I was skeptical about the C4 engines capability, but your picture really proved me wrong!
I can't wait to see more :)

omg all you developers and game makers, you can start to devote your time to something else, like chaining yourselfs to trees, because the ultimate game has just been spawned.

Since the dev's are finaly able to ''hardcode'' the engine that shouldnt be hard :)

Sniper_dog14 wrote:Our own engine = Unlimited possibilities because WE HAVE THE SOURCE CODE!!! Alot of ppl dont understand that. You can sit here all day talking about what the engine can and cannot do but in the end realize that we can change it as much as we want to make it do whatever we want and that is by far the #1 selling point. Get a clue ppl :P
the only quote that's neccesary. =D

Mostly its limited to time and how much man hours you want to put down in a single feature. And ofc whats achievable with todays technology

well from what i understand, engines still have their limitations even with source code. for example, if you had source code to Refractor Engine(bf2), could you make 100kmx100km maps with 500vs500? im not sure really. ill wait for some one more knowledgeable on the subject of game engines to prove me wrong no doubt.

I just don't like the character movements (the enemy) that much, but I'm pretty sure it will be better over time :)
*waves hand to dismiss the concern* chuc will take care of that for us in PR2
