There better farking NOT be a crosshair! That would piss the "realism" away like nothing else. Except if some sort of LandWarrior concept is implemented.
There was a big discussion on this topic a while back.

EDIT: Damn took forever to fing this

Yes, I know that. But if people raise a big enough ruckus about it without a challenge the devs might reconsider and put it back in anyway....
Thanks for the link though.

Solodude, you should try out Infiltration for UT. Best damned realistic shooter mod there is... Well, that's my opinion. :o ops:
The lead programmer for that mod has even made a few posts to this forum and Alpha-Lima, if he's still around has made some maps for it.

All the info you need is on their homepage. The most exciting/sad news about Infiltration is that it, or rather Sentry Studios next project, will move to the Source engine.
Anyway, this link will give you the rundown on Infiltrations aimingsystem:

Yes, it is like OFP but in Inf you get that "freeaim" zone even when you aim your weapon.

Well, the transition from version 2.86 to 2.9 took 2 years and this time they'll have to start from scratch. More or less anyway.
Hopefully there'll be something this year but no guarantees on that...
But expect whatever comes out to be highquality stuff! :D
