preferrably yes, it would make a better model if we are able to go inside

Hey all... never done any modelling, or uv mapping, or texturing or whatever.... but i'm a Norwegian at heart (Parents born and raised there, i've spent pretty much every summer of my life in Telemark, Buskerud, and wherever Sandefjord is.... and i'm moving there next year for boarding school...) and will do anything to see this come about! What can I do? I will gladly learn modelling or whatever.... but how can I learn? Anyone know any good cheap/free software? And sites/forums to learn from? Or would be willing to teach?
Thx!
