Hey Ripptide. Exporting to the BF2 Engine is quite annoying but easy once you understand it.
Yes your 2048x2048 .dds texture will work perfect for the BF2 Engine.
Hope you made bump maps
Your 7500 Tri Count is perfect. Not sure if you made an interior but something I'd look into if I were you. DEVs really like that.
Only Problem. The Model must be exported through 3ds Max 9. Only compatible version possible. You'd have to export it as a .3ds or .obj. (I suggest .3ds) and fix any quality flaws in 3ds Max 9
After that you will be able to export. Not a huge pain in the *** but does take work.
