Ahhhh omg, how do you guys find these threads...I can never seem to find the re-suggestions threads.'[R-DEV wrote:Eddie Baker;1229116']This is a resuggestion from not too long ago.

It's not a very common re-suggestion, though, and I believe it has merit for the machine-guns that feed from open-topped boxes.
As to the Stryker RWS and almost identical M153 CROWS, as far as I know they do not have indicators for every shot, just a low ammo indicator that comes on when ammo drops below a certain level; based on weight, I would guess.
Tracers at the end of the magazine has been suggested before, both here and on DEV forums, but I don't remember why it hasn't been implemented thus far.

Yes,Yes you should..darkside12 wrote:What do you expect me to do while I'm playing, count my shots so I know? I've got better things to think about while in a firefight, like worrying about reinforcements, counterattacks and the likes.

Well, that's pretty dumb if you're more worried about how many rounds are left in your magazine than the jackass in front of you trying to blast your head off. If you run out, just duck and reload. Other than that, just throw a new magazine in your rifle after extended combat. You save the rounds anyways, so it's not like you'll lose the ones in your previous mag. They just get compiled. That's the purpose of a dump pouch. To throw your used mags into so in a lull in a fight, you can compile all the unused rounds into one mag, so instead of 3 mags of 5, 6, or 7 rounds, you have one with 15, 18, or 21. If you ask anybody who's ever been infantry, counting the rounds they've fired isn't even an afterthought. There's visual indicators on the magazines at certain points so you can SWAG (Scientific Wild *** Guess) how many rounds you have.-Sauso- wrote:Yes,Yes you should..

Look up the thread I started on the MV-22 vs. CH-46 under General Discussion. I don't take realism lightly, especially when it comes to the USMC faction, being that I'm a Marine myself.PowerPickle wrote:Lol Darkside, you're having a fun time with this thread aren't you?
