BTR-80 isn't such perspective chassis due to flaws that could not be fixed: lack of any serious anti-mine protection and weaknesses in armor.

i meant in game, not in real life :p anyway there is no replacement for it in close future and there are still BTR-60 and 70 rolling around :-(

Btw,
BTR-60 should have similiar characteristics to stryker [tracked after one lat hit in the back], as its armored only with 7mm-10mm of welded steel

surely making teh turret more easily disabled would be better? I was under the impression that the number of wheels on the stryker and BTR it hard to track it with directed AT weapons
