ambient sounds would be a REALLLY nice addition to PR

.... for example ( not what you recorded ) but on Albasrah ... its Toooo quiet .. you just dont hear any natrural anything ... wind sound effects wuld be nice .. mabey a flocking bird once in a while

aha... i like the sound effects the stream would be very nice

...
That would be great to move way from Vbf2 Everything if possible

make our OWN unique sound effects and ambient sounds such as on korengall

Longest run-on sentence ever, btw.
A lot of sound quality will be reduced simply by uploading it to youtube, I would imagine that the original files are of higher quality, but just a guess.

If you want to appease audiophiles just upload a wav file to the forums. Nice job BTW, new forest sounds would be sweet.

That rain one would be perfect for OGT, but I think it's being taken out for .9.

Yeah, Z-trooper is a former multi national freelance aircraft weapons system developer. If I understood it right, he did a few things for the chinese emperor, in exchange for some QBZ sound files

Our R-Devs really deserve a salary, but we all know that they will become multi billionaires when they begin selling PR2 with the C4 engine...
Back to topic, the sounds are great. But would it be possible to register one with birds singing ?
Jaymz;1244922']Sounding pretty good, mate. What gear are you using to do your field recording? (pre-amp, mic etc)
heh, nowhere near as technical as you folks might think. I'm using a Sennheiser Shotgun Mic hooked up to a Panasonic DVX100. That's about all I can say

Yes, you're dead-on right about the audio being murky. No sound-proof studio (yet), so I ambient noise is all I can really offer right now. Got any recommendations for recording codecs? I'd love to hear them

This is great!
I wonder what kind of sounds we could use on those quiet and empty MEC/insurgency city maps. Maybe car alarms going off? Dogs barking? Cats meowing? Record them nao!
