For the people that just say "get a torrent client", you are not very liberal and respect peoples freedom of choice. I should not be forced into getting a certain format if I do not wish to. This is like saying that all future music will only be available is AAC format and can only be got from iTunes..... I don't own an iPod because iTunes is **** - freedom of choice..... hell, it's what brings the Matrix down - choice......

a) there are also mirrors up
b) there will be official mirrors
c) get a torrent client
d) freedom of choice is still there. you don't like the way pr is delivered, don't dload it. just like you said that you didn't get an ipod coz itunes stinks. which is absolutely correct btw
e) bandwidth costs monies. torrents makes use of all users' bandwidth. share the cost so to say.

Some providers throttle down the ports that could be used for filesharing, so some people need direct download to download at a reasonable speed.
Myself i am doing aright with speeds between 60-600 (my max) and my cousin in Italy has a 50 mbit glasswire connection, if he wants to watch the wwe or any episode of anything he downloads it with emule in no time to his drive and deletes it afterwards, good for him.


Bandwith limit ? Revolutions have been started and empires shattered over lesser issues. Load your muskets and protest taxation with bandwith limit or something.

Can anyone upload some megaupload or rapidshare links? (I tried the rapidshare ones someone posted and they go SUUUUUPER slow--like 10/15kb/s and then stall out)

I've tried about 10 times to download the giant 1.6 gig files and they always corrupt by the end of it. And the torrent is still going way too slow.

Thanks guys I'd REALLY appreciate it. Obviously I want to be able to play at release .

Like others have said - there are reasons they can't use torrents and reasons the Devs use torrents as a first distribution method.

I'm making use of my time by
1. Seeding the torrent files, luckily my ISP -Roger$ seems to have the throttle raised a little this week
2. Writing up that guide so you can make sure your files are good
