I made a suggestion for this style of game play back in the PR v.7 era. I love driving tanks. LOVE IT. I AM A TANK WHORE.... glad i got that out of my system. This mode is what Ive always dreamed of. So awesome. Great work PR DEV team and everyone else who was involved. You might be getting a monetary reward from this (albeit small).

An air superiority mode where you have 8 jets, and the rest AAVs would be hilariously great.

That air mode sounds great in text but id would put my house on it not being successful ingame, its easy to say the jets would defend the helos and the aavs would defend the jets but i guarantee it wouldnt work out like that. Training mode proved what a mess gameplay is with a lot of jets and aa.

I just hope, that I'll get any decent tank commander.

My main concern is that those who enjoy and are good at using vehicles/tanks, will flock to these vehicle only servers, and leave us infantrymen unsupported...

Yeah.. thats a good point.
but i doubt those people will enjoy the game play As much with out having to support infantry and ground units. well.. i hope not

I am going to use the vehicles only maps to get my vehicle "fix" and to hone my skills. I still like to support infantry and command a section of the battle field on the regular servers. I also think a massive attack helis only battle (8 vs would be pretty sweet too.

Well, if Red Orchestra is anything to go by, vehicle players stick to vehicle servers. I hope the same doesnt happen here, as combined arms mutual support makes the game for me.

Imagine you are a person who likes to drive tanks, and you see 2 servers, one with 16 tanks and one with 1, which do you join?

But I doubt all tank players are just going to disappear, its different...

This looks cool, I just hope most of the server's stay with combined arms/infantry maps though because I remember in red orchestra almost all the servers dropped the infantry maps and went for all tanks.

I can see it now: I crest the hill with 11 other friendly tanks and see... 11 enemy tanks! Can't imagine surviving more than one engagement in this mode...

Well it just means new recruits will have to fill in the ranks. Get yourself a speedlink joystick you can grab it off ebay for 10€ which is a reasonable price if you only fly on PR.
