I have a really old computer but it could play the old maps fine, but on the new maps and falluja, whenever i look towards the center direction of the map, massive FPS lag

AMD athlon 64....yea i know, but my unplayable fps drop only happened in .9

I have the exact same problem.
T6670
HD4330M
3GB RAM
W7 Pro 32 bit.
Despite the bad performance, I wouldn't call 0.9 a fail. I see a lot of effort has been put into it, and I look forward to play it. I just can't play it at the moment, which is sad, because I really want to enjoy this mod.

I'd say its gonna be a big failure if the problems are not getting fixed. However I'm confident that the devs are gonna weed out the bugs and release a hotfix.

No, games like Rogue Warrior are a big failboat. PR is free, and I don't consider this version as a fail. It's a fail if you get many CTD's/ BSOD's, horrible quality models and skins, and awful gameplay, filled to the notch with bugs. That's not the case with PR. There are optimization issues, but that doesn't mean it's a fail.
But if you can do it better, go ahead, and fix it for them and us.

If a big chunk of the playerbase cant play the game anymore after a new release, I'd say its a failed release.
If you actually read my post, you'll also see that I'm confident that the devs competent enough to get these problems fixed before long to prevent the aforementioned failure.

Intel Core2 Duo CPU T7300 @ 2.00GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.0GHz
2046MB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS
And utterly horrible performance even on the lowest setting literally possible, while I did fine on med/low in 0874. On Yamalia I can have 30 FPS when looking at the ground/edge of map, but anywhere else and it can drop as low as 8 FPS.
But seeing as Fallujah had it's performance problems fixed quickly once, I'm sure that the devs can fix this too. Just... try to be fast, all the new content is so jaw-droppingly awesome.

The mod is playable, several maps just aren't. There's a difference between that.

Clearly we got a different view on what's a failure...
