I said high ping :D which is more than MultiSeconds (>150)
For me I have a ping of 130 on British servers but when I join american servers, I.E Virginia insurgency I get a ping of 230 which is 2.3 seconds if I am not wrong and thats just so much time to settle (I know its 3 secs for settle)
230 miliseconds is not 2.3 seconds, its 0.230 sec :fryingpan

All depends on range, 50+ fair enough, you will need to give settle time if you want to win the engagement but anything under 20-ish you are still going to win by prone/auto.

Your best bet is to stay moving, not go prone, and spam your entire mag at them. Iron sights will almost always win in CQB right now, since sight-in time on the optics is very high. People may be diving to the ground to avoid being killed, but it won't help them kill you.

Moral is: Stay standing/crouched, use ironsights, stay mobile

I forgot to tell the conditions under which this stuff happens.

The worst one was at Gaza today (which was the drop that overflown the bucket for me) I'm INS i see a enemy walk around the corner around 50 to 70 meters away, i crouch and fire 2 controlled shots with my m16a1. I see him turning towards me and within seconds I'm dead. I don't think he crouched actually or dolphin dived. But the worst feeling is seeing them dive and immediately see your screen turn red, range doesn't matter to much, either they kill you straight away or you win the firefight.

When using scoped guns i usually feel more gimped because i spend to much time on really getting my shots accurate instead of actually getting a good amount of lead their way.

Also, when these situations happen I'm usually dead in seconds, so running and/or giving suppressing fire feels futile.

I'm guilty of the AK spam as well to be honest, it used to safe my life quite a few times on Fallujah, but it only works with the 74 in my opinion, the 47 goes all over the place.

All this stuff has some positives as well, I'm a pretty good grenadier now, you can duck right after you shoot and i trust that m203 more than my bullets if i have a bad day like today. And when i play without my clan i use my bayonet allot lol, i really like the new British one.

I take it you mean doing this at extreme CQB? Because walking around shooting a AK full auto will make then rpg look like a sniper rifle lol.

u dont walk around shooting Ak on full auto, u keep it on full auto and when u see someone 50m or even 100m in front u fire rapid burst one after another, dont just spray and pray. ;) and keep moving, what ill do if i in counter enemy 100m or so, ill do what i can to get near him as possible. Nothing beats turning a corner with a AK on full auto and bumping into a squad who think ur straight ahead of them, taking there time to get a head shot lol. Ur a INS u dont value life :p

Rather than dive, try going to crouch.

I had another horrible playing experience today again.

I've tried doing some shooting practice today, and that 2 second rule also counts for iron sight weapons. So when i started looking for games to try it out i only got disappointed again when i got out shot AGAIN by people that starting firing right away.

Maybe i should record a video? What's the best program to do that nowadays?

Crouch work, but tbh the best defence out there is to have a reasonable obstacle to hide behind

remember even if he is super innacurate there is like a 2% chance hell headshot you

now, thats not much

but if you encounter 100 prone divers...2 of them are going to headshot you

ingame, if me and him meet on an open field, I bloody run away unless Ive already stood still for a little while.

To be honest i don't trust cover at all, because of the 2 second it means you have pop out and let it settle and then shoot, to risky. And the person who ducks first is the one that loses most of the time. Because the other guy can just watch until he pops up again.

When i use cover it's mostly to get the hell out of there and flank the tango.

If someone dives prone in the open and I'm standing, ill just crouch instead of pronedive since theres no repercussion for crouching.

Happened last night on Gaza -

Hamas guy goes prone with IDF AR
He begins spraying and I dont even get suppressed
I crouch in undeployed mode, fire two shots off and kill him...

If you are getting pronedived it means your giving the enemy too much time for deviation settle, which means either you were moving way too much - moving while shooting, or diving prone as well.

My advice is just take it slow whenever you can, know the deviation rules, and only go prone with you need it for COVER behind a low wall, or if you are setting up on a hill/vantage point where you will have the drop on your enemy.

Prone in the open in medium range fights can make you just spray aimlessly ( pun intended )
